Health Requirements

The Czech Republic has a universal health care system that provides access to publicly funded medical care to all citizens and residents. Foreign visitors can access both public and private healthcare facilities. The Czech healthcare system is considered to be of high quality.

Health insurance

Citizens of EU/EEA countries and Switzerland can travel to the Czech Republic with a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This card provides access to necessary medical care under the same conditions as Czech citizens. However, it is still recommended to purchase travel insurance that covers additional expenses such as repatriation or ambulance transport.

Citizens of other countries are required to have travel insurance that covers the costs of medical care in the Czech Republic. The insurance should be valid for the entire duration of their stay and cover all potential medical expenses.

Vaccinations

There are no mandatory vaccinations required for travel to the Czech Republic.

Finding help

In case of a medical emergency, visitors can call the emergency services at 112. This number can be used to request an ambulance, fire department, or police.

General Health Conditions

  • Participation in the event is allowed only for individuals who do not show signs of infectious diseases.
  • Those with chronic conditions are advised to consult their doctor before travelling.
  • If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or require specific medical assistance, please inform the organizers in advance.
